WHAT IS PSMES?
The Penn State Mechanical Engineering Society is an organization of Penn State mechanical engineering alumni and friends of the mechanical engineering program. The purpose of this Society is to promote fellowship and communication among the alumni, faculty and students of the Mechanical Engineering Program in order to work for the improvement of the program, the Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering Department, and the College of Engineering.

HOW IS PSMES ORGANIZED?
PSMES is governed by a Board of Directors that is made up of mechanical engineering alumni who hold the elected positions of the Society officers: President, Vice-President, and Secretary/Treasurer and six At Large members. The Department Head of the Mechanical engineering program and a Mechanical engineering faculty member also serve on the Board of Directors.

All living graduates of Penn State’s mechanical engineering program can become a member and there are no dues or fees. To become a member please complete the membership form online (become a member) or print and complete a membership form (printable form) and return it to me by fax at (814)-863-6382 or through the mail at:
