The department offers three degrees at the master’s level:

• Master of Engineering – Completion of a minimum of 30 graduate credits and the submission of a paper. For more detailed degree requirements, click here.
• Master of Science Thesis Option – Completion of a minimum of 30 graduate credits and the submission of a thesis (6 credits of NucE 600) to the Graduate School. For more detailed degree requirements, click here.
• Master of Science Non-Thesis Option with paper – Completion of a minimum of 24 graduate credits of which 18 credits must be 500-level courses and the submission of a scholarly paper to the department. For more detailed degree requirements, click here.
