Pierre-Clement Simon - Materials for Nuclear Power Group

Pierre-Clément Simon is a graduate student pursuing his Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering at Penn State. He comes from France, where he is currently enrolled in a double degree with the French Engineering School Ecole Centrale de Lyon, which will provide him a Masters in General Engineering in August 2017. His research focuses on Hydride Precipitation and Morphology in Zirconium Alloys at a fundamental level. In order to address this subject, he uses experimental methods and Phase Field model.

Volunteer assistant coach of the Penn State Varsity Fencing Team, he enjoys sharing his love for this sport. He also enjoys travels and music.
