A Technology-Rich Student Learning Environment
The E-Knowledge Commons will build a community among mechanical and nuclear engineering students.
The proposed E-Knowledge Commons will be a student-centered space designed for peer-to-peer learning. It will give students a place to work in teams within a variety of study spaces, while having easy access to technology and other resources.
Equipped with individual and group study areas to foster collaboration as well as private meeting rooms outfitted with state-of-the-art computer and video conferencing systems, the E-Knowledge Commons will provide students with the advanced tools they need to learn and succeed in today’s competitive global environment.
Perhaps even more importantly, the E-Knowledge Commons will be a community space in the Reber Building for mechanical and nuclear engineering students.
