Project Abstract

Diezel Corp. is sponsored by the Energy Institute of Pennsylvania State University to build a fuel injector test stand. The test stand will be used to analyze the durability and effectiveness of Diesel engine fuel injectors. The fuel used is a formulation of DME (Dymethyl Ether)-Diesel fuel, a new fuel source researched by Elana Chapman, Jennifer Eirich, and Prof. Andre Boehman of the Energy Institute of Pennsylvania State University.
By the end of Fall semester 2002, Diezel Corp. managed to assemble the system.
