Project Objectives
Dimensioning - accurately measure, dimension, and record the Wind Tunnel Balance components
Research - check feasibility of integrating new load cells into original design. Check integrity of the flexures, and form a preliminary budget for this project
Design - Develop CAD drawings of each portion of the balance. Design new flexures for those requiring replacement. Design mounts for replacement load cells.
Team Work - Coordinate and effective working environment for a team of ten engineers. Schedule all task due dates and coordinate teams in order to achieve main goals.
Management - Successfully supervise the design and development of Balance Lifting Cart, and the reworking of the electronics to develop a Labview data acquisition system and code.
