Digital/Analog & Analog/Digital Converters

The basic building blocks of a Langmuir probe are normally a voltage source and an electrometer.  Our proposed implementation for the voltage source is a 12-bit digital to analog converter (DAC).  The microprocessor controls the DAC output level where the DC bias will be applied to the selected plasma sensor head.
