Implementation


The Hybrid Plasma Probe is physically realized by combining the basic principles of both the Langmuir Probe and Plasma Frequency Probe.  These two types of probes can be integrated together without any loss of capability.  Rather, as discussed above, more capabilities are created such as Fast Temperature Probe operation.

The block diagram description of the HPP system is shown in Figure 5 below.
