UGV – Unmanned Ground Vehicle: Small remote controlled unmanned vehicle to provide reconnaissance for the U.S. Military and law enforcement.

Tank Requirements:

Vehicle mass: 40 pounds

• Lightweight, tough, and quiet at 100 ft.

• Must be able to outrun a human at top speed

• Durable for use in harsh environments

Team Goals:

• Design and manufacture sealed gearboxes to drive the tank

• Work with the hull design team to integrate systems

• Design a drivetrain mount to provide shock absorption upon impact

• Implement motor mounting and control system

• Provide preliminary design of a turret ring
