Cost Reduction of the HT-250 Tack Distributor
The Problem
The IR Tackers design group is working to redesign the HT-250 to reduce the cost of the unit by 30%. The unit has an overall cost that is too expensive that is making it difficult for Ingersoll Rand to remain competitive in the market. Our team was to consider revamping the current design and/or searching for other parts suppliers as possible solutions for the problem.
