Technical Interests:
- Main research area: Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). Developing and testing a model of a full size BWR fuel assembly utilizing FLUENT CFD.
- Actively participating in the BFBT benchmark team. Analyzing system, sub-channel and CFD codes and assessing state of the art models for prediction of two phase flows in a BWR fuel bundle.
- Strong background in system codes: RELAP, TRACE/PARCS. Involved in three different projects.
Current Work:
Ph D Thesis topic “Development and Validation of Advanced CFD Models for Detailed Predictions of Void Distribution in a BWR Bundle”.
