The Turbulent Combustion Lab (TCL) of the Department of Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering at Penn State University is a state-of-the-art combustion research facility located in the Propulsion Engineering Research Center on the University Park campus. The TCL occupies 2800 square feet and houses a number of unique experimental facilities and related advanced diagnostics for conducting both fundamental and applied research pertaining to combustion in IC engines and gas turbines. |
