Morris K. Udall Foundation Scholarship & Excellence in National Environmental Policy 3.0 GPA
US citizen, permanent resident, or US national.

Sophomores or juniors who study the environment and related fields. Native American and Alaska Native students who are college sophomores or juniors and are in fields related to health care or tribal public policy.
Up to $5,000. Scholarship recipients are eligible for one year of support per application year. Sophomores are eligible for re-nomination for a second year. Juniors are eligible for one year only. March 4, 2008

The Josephine De Kármán Fellowship

Students entering senior year of undergraduate studies. 10: $10,000 scholarships for one year of academic study in the United States. Midnight, January 31, 2008
American Nuclear Society Awards Requirements vary for the many different scholarships that are available; some are for financial need, women, graduate students, location (e.g. Pittsburgh). Varies February 1, 2008

NASA Graduate Student Researcher Program Applicants must be currently enrolled or accepted as a full-time graduate student in an accredited U.S. college or university, U.S. citizens (other requirements apply). Fellowships are awarded for one year in the amount of $30,000. This amount includes an $21,000 student stipend, a student allowance of $4,000, a $1,000 student health insurance allowance, and a $4,000 university allowance. The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation - Graduate Scholarship Program Applicants must:
  • Be a senior or recent graduate of an accredited U.S. university or college.
  • Must have a bachelor’s degree by the start of Fall 2007 semester
  • Have a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.5 or better
  • Have unmet financial need
  • Be nominated by his/her undergraduate institution
  • Never been previously nominated for the Jack Kent Cooke graduate scholarship
  • Plan on attending a full-time graduate or professional degree program at an accredited U.S. university or college in the fall 2007. This must be the first graduate degree the candidate has ever pursued.
